RECRUITMENT: FIRST NEW JOBS AT MARCHWOOD MILITARY PORT
Solent Gateway recruitment is looking for a range of Sponsored Reserves who will be employed as civilian port operators and supervisors but will have a joint Army Reserve role as required.
This is a bit different to most jobs. Some people are happy working in an ordinary 9 – 5 job, going back to the same routine on a daily basis.
A job with Solent Gateway can take you away from the ‘norm’ and give you life changing opportunities.
Undertake adventures, travel the world and train alongside the Army to pursue personal skills and grow as a person…. All whilst getting paid to do it!
You’ll have the opportunity to carry out military operations across the world as a member of the Army Reserves. Your training as a port operator will include the mooring of vessels, the securing of cargo and will allow you to manoeuvre specialist machinery.
As well as Sponsored Reserves the company is also looking for a number of specialist civilian posts in commercial operations, business analysis, health and safety and human resources.
If this sounds like a job that suits you, contact Solent Gateway or visit our current vacancies page for more details of the posts available.
Marchwood port presents significant opportunities for additional commercial development and further job opportunities on site. Full details the longer term commercial plans for the port are still being worked through and will be shared once finalised.
